My story begins when I was about 2 or 3 years old being pushed around car shows and at the racetrack to watch my father and grandfather. I have always had the passion for classic and muscle cars. The design and ideas of the past are what shaped our future and restoring these vehicles back to their prime is not a job; it’s a hobby for me. We founded this company for classic car restoration and creating family-like relationships along the way. I am third generation in the restoration field and I hope to have my fourth generation continue it. One of my favorite parts of my job is traveling to all the shows and events, meeting all the great car crazy people. Thanks everyone!
My name is Russ, but everyone calls me 'Big Russ' at the shop. My love of cars stretches back to when you could buy 69 Camaros for practically nothing! What a change now-a-days... The things I enjoy in my free time are camping, motorcycle riding, and enjoying my 49 Chevy Truck. If you call to speak to someone about getting your project started you will be speaking with me. I will spend as much time necessary to let you know just who we are at R&M! We look forward to talking with you.
Hey my name is Zach. I graduated high school a year early as a Junior being a member of the National Honors and Technical Honors Society. I made some guidance counselors not so happy when I said I want to work on classic cars for a living when they suggested I take advance courses and I said no. I had placed 3rd in Skills USA for Collision Repair and had received numerous scholarships to a trade school. Now I've graduated and I'm home. I get to come to work everyday, build beautiful cars, and learn more everyday I cant ask for more being this young and working with the team here at R&M Performance. "If you do what you love everyday, you will never work another day in your life."
Hello, my name is Kyle. I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and continue to enjoy all it has to offer. I was raised "right" by my loving parents Gary and Sophia Shockley to love God and respect others. I attended Wesleyan Christian School through the third grade and then Countryside Christian School through the eighth grade. Cambridge South Dorchester was home for my four years of High school where I enjoyed playing multiple sports including baseball, football, soccer, and lacrosse. After graduating high school in 2009 I decided to enter the hiring process for Maryland State Police. After some time I decided that it wasn't for me so I enrolled in Wyotech at the Blairsville, PA campus. I attended Wyotech for 18 months taking advantage of the classes I was in and learning everything I could. The classes I took were; Trim and Upholstery, Collision, Refinishing, Street Rod, and Chassis Fab. I graduated Wyotech with honors in early 2011 and immediately began working in the industry gaining irreplaceable real world experience and striving towards perfection in everything I would do. I now have over six year of experience including my time in Wyotech and am continuing to take my quality of workmanship to the next level. Besides my passion for all things automotive I also enjoy snowboarding, softball, off-roading, car shows, and good times with good friends.
