MattMatt Hutchins
V.P. Of Operations/Marketing/Founding Partner

My story begins when I was about 2 or 3 years old being pushed around car shows and at the racetrack to watch my Father and Grandfather. I have always had the passion for classics, & muscle cars. The design and ideas of the past are what shaped our future and restoring these vehicles back to their prime is not a job; it’s a hobby for me. I, My Brother, and My Dad founded this company on restoring classics and creating like family relationships along the way.  I am third generation in the restoration field and I hope to have my fourth generation continue it. One of my favorite parts of my job is traveling to all the shows and events meeting all the great car crazy people. Thanks Everyone!

LilRussRuss Hutchins III
President/Founding Partner

Hi, like my Brother I have been born and bred into classic cars my entire life. Matt handles the marketing sides of R & M but my main duties are to keep the daily flow and operations running. With just about a 20 man staff and 50 cars in the building it is a constant task managing projects.  My love of classics will be forever strong, I am partial to the 57 Chevy thou. I and my wife each have a 57 that we cruise the town in on those nice days. As my Father and Mother did to me and Matt, my son Lil Russ who is now 2 will be raised to respect the classics and that part of our history! I may also add I was lucky enough to marry Miranda who shares the same passion!

Big Russ Hutchins
New Client Manager/Consultant

Hello, my name is Russ, but everyone calls me Big Russ at the shop.  My love of cars stretches back to when you could buy 69 Camaros all day long for practically nothing! What a change now a day, lol. My Father Ron; was a very big influence on my passion for cars. Me and him built many cars together all the way up until his passing, my favorite was a 65 Impala SS. If you call up to speak to someone about your project being started you will be speaking with me. I will spend as much time necessary to let you know just who we are at R & M! Thanks and look forward to talking with you…

AmandaAmanda Andrews
Office Manager/ Accounting

My name is Amanda Andrews. I’m 23 years old, a graduate of North Dorchester High School and Delmarva Beauty Academy. I was born and raised in Dorchester County, and still make my home there in East New Market. I am happily engaged to my fiancé Jake, who I have been with for 7 years.

My love of cars probably started with my Grandfather and Mother. Before I was born, my Grandfather sort of collected older cars, bought them, restored a few, and eventually started selling them. He owned a used car lot for years outside of Cambridge, MD (Route 50 Auto Sales). Two special cars he mostly restored to original were a 1956 Chevrolet 2 door Belair hard top and a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. He eventually sold them but got much pleasure out of working on them and of course driving them.

My Mother of course worked there in her teenage years helping around the shop, detailing the cars he purchased to re sell. That’s probably where her love of cars began. Her first car ever was a 74’ Ford Mustang that she had painted and fixed up and the age of 16. Then one day she saw basically a shell of a wrecked 1968 Camaro come into the mechanic’s shop. It was formerly a racing car of a local guy. She talked to the mechanic, and found out his plans were to restore it and sell it. To make a long story short, she bought it from him. It ended up being candy apple red with white racing stripes, chrome wheels, and a much bigger engine than she needed.

So I guess some of this was passed down to me. I truly enjoy my job at R&M Performance. I love watching the transformation these vehicles go through while they are here. When they come to our shop, they are in need of some TLC. Our team here does an incredible job of giving them just that. It is truly amazing to see the potential these cars have, and then to see that actually materialize.

I was first inspired by a Hot Wheels 1968 Camaro then saved money to buy a 69. I love to see the end result of all the hard work in a project. I do assembly, chassis fabrication, wiring, & engine tuning. I enjoy working with everyone at R & M and look forward to growing with them in the future. I'm happily married with a Daughter, 3 dogs, & 2 horses.
